We Are the Granddaughters…

Yes, that’s true.

But we are also the granddaughters of those women who didn’t help each other, out of fear.
Of those women who ratted each other out, just to keep the attention off themselves or to save their loved ones.
Of those women who were ignorant of their feminine gifts and remained uninitiated to them.
Of those women who believed the lies that women’s gatherings were evil or the devil’s work.
Of those women who subsequently learned to mistrust all other women.

I’m not trying to paint a pessimist picture here. But all of this is the Witch Wound. So, we don’t only have the many burned women to mourn, but also all of these other losses: the loss of trust, of community, and of ritual.

Healing the Witch Wound is about feeling & releasing all of that.

Healing the Witch Wound is about forgiving all of those offenses – in our ancestry and in ourselves.

Healing the Witch Wound is about learning to trust each other, again.

Healing the Witch Wound is about re-learning to trust ourselves.

How does the witch wound show up for you? I’m curious to for your experiences 💬
